Depending on who you are and who you have any form of contact with:
Some questions demand answers
Some questions cannot yield “answers” — at least none considered “sensible” or “acceptable” (the two are NOT always the same)
Some questions lead to better questions.
Is “human” a fixed or finite category?
Is it now (and has it always been) in the process of changing?
What are the forces most likely to drive how humanity may change?
Which forces would you like to strengthen?
Which forces would you like to blunt?
As long as we (who live now) remain alive, do we have any other option but to be human?
Is that a curse, a blessing, a challenge, an opportunity, a limit, a disgrace, a source of pride, a burden, a source of wonder, a source of inspiration, a source of dread, or a well of emptiness?
What can we know about humanity a thousand generations before we were born? Should we care to know?
Do we care about the generations of humanity that may come after we and any great grandchildren have died off? Should we?
Does human history involve repeating cycles of development and collapse, victimhood and triumph, despair and hope?
Does human history consist of an inevitable trajectory toward either betterment or extinction?
Is human history a random process of contingencies that we can barely affect either individually or collectively?
Is human history with all its contingencies also open to how we as individuals and collectives chose to focus our intentions, expectations, and efforts?
When someone asks if they are a person/human is that based on a feeling that they are lacking or not “good” enough in some way?
Is it based on a feeling they are somehow better than the run of humanity they have knowledge or contact with?
Is it based on a fear that something might lead others to reject or scapegoat them?
Is it based on a desire to dominate and explicit with impunity?
