Sometimes I start writing a note and it grows it’s own legs. There’s not quite enough substance there for a full essay, but in case you wanted some more bite-sized and digestible reads, here are some of my more “popular” notes (and some that I just like):

  • on writing about the same things (and on writing about the same things, again)

  • on ex-roommates

  • on letting writing simmer

  • on change and wanting to be the “old” you

  • on reading and writing as synonyms rather than opposites

  • on how I look to others

  • on being happy

  • on trying to write about love

  • on anger

  • on wanting to go home

  • on newton’s laws and how it applies to healing

  • on how it’ll be okay, eventually

  • on authenticity

  • on my mother’s name

  • on translating my parents

  • on grief and love

  • on the small heavens on earth

  • on grief and hope
